What's it about?
The story in this movie is based around a small hamlet based in England, UK. This hamlet has had a curse put on it, however, and when the girls in the hamlet turn 18 they suddenly turn into lesbians. Kind of sounds like my home town, anyway that's not the worse part, however, they also turn into vampires. The town's people have set up a deal with the lesbian vampires; if the town's people provide the vampires with fresh meat then they get to live.
Enter Gavin and Stacey - stars James Corden and Mathew Horne, two friends who have had troubled lives, the one can't keep a job as he works as a clown but hates children and often ends up punching them and the other keeps being rejected by his girlfriend. The couple decide to make a new start in their life and decide to go hiking. Their luck soon seems to take a turn for the better as when they reach a little hamlet they are greeted with free beer, a free place to stay, and it's also occupied by very beautiful and attractive women. However their luck truly hasn't changed and they soon find themselves trying to get laid while trying not to get eaten by the lesbian vampires outside their house.
This movie isn't a classic comedy but it does produce some laughs and the dialogue on times is pretty funny, the movie however is let down by a slow pacing and some unneeded scenes. However having said that I do still believe lesbian vampire killers is worth watching and I award this movie a blood sucking 3 out of 5 vampire bites.
